Types of writing you do (books, articles, blogs, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, publicity, letters to granny, other) I help small businesses, individuals, nonprofit organizations, and start up companies get the word out about their organization through public relations writing. PR writing includes everything from news releases, case studies, white papers, feature articles, bios, backgrounders, Web site content, etc.

What experience or expertise can you offer other writers? When engaging in public relations, remember that it is not about you, but what you can offer to your publics. Editors don't want to hear your sales pitch, but they do want to provide their readers with valuable information. So give editors what they want and find creative ways to inform their readers.

What types of people would you most like to connect with at the conference? I have never met a writer that I didn't like. I am looking forward to connecting with writers of all genres. It would also be great to network with others in public relations and journalism.
